What is the data source field used for? Use the �data source� field to acknowledge the source of your information about a particular specimen. When conflicting information is obtained at a later time, you can double-check the accuracy of both sources.

Sir Isaac Newton in a letter to Robert Hooke (February 5, 1675) wrote,
�If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants�.
