Plants that don't like to get their feet wet

Smart gardeners know that there are plenty of beautiful plants that require no extra watering beyond what nature provides. Not only is this politically savvy in these water restricted times, but it saves time and money.

If you're tired of dragging the hose out and setting the sprinklers try these low moisture plants. And if you're thinking of converting a new section into gardens, consider saving your money by skipping those expensive irrigation systems that always seem to require maintenance.

Here's a sampling of plants that require little or no extra water once established.
