There's not much happening in winter -- or is there?

Creating a four season garden isn't difficult when you discover the beauty in nature's other delights. Berries of every color enhance the bi-tonal backdrop of the winter months.

The fruit of last season's floral display hangs in clusters of red and orange and white. The clear forms of deciduous trees against the open sky make their own statements. And the striking contrast of bright colored stems clothed only in their pre-spring growth adds high drama to your garden.

Need a winter lift?

Inconspicuous summer flowers, but oh what a winter display.

Contrasting colors of evergreen leaves and mid-winter fruit can lift the wintertime blues.  And don't discount bright berries on deciduous bushes, which can be even more striking.
