The five word processing-like document areas (garden, herbal medicine, horticulture, herbarium and checklist) are modestly limited in the amount of text they can store. This limit is approximately 8,000 characters. The exact size is determined by the amount of formatting applied to the notes.  The total size of all text and formatting in a document must not exceed 8192 characters.
