Through the wonders of agriculture, refrigeration, and trans-oceanic shipping, we can get a wide

Star fruit
Outer skin is waxy in appearance but thin enough to eat. Shaped like an apple that's desiccated. Taste is light and juicy but without much sweetness. Almost like celery. The inner core has an apple-core like fiber with tiny seeds. |
