International Association of Bryologists	Established in 1969. Aims to promote international cooperation and communication among bryologists through meetings, publication of reviews, lists, software, and compendia.
American Bryological and Lichenological Society	Organization devoted to the scientific study of the biology of bryophytes and lichen-forming fungi. Publishes Evansia and The Bryologist which includes articles on diverse aspects of the biology of mosses, hornworts, liverworts, and lichens.
